Criminal Injuries

If you have been a victim of violent crime within the last 2 years, or have been the victim of abuse at some point, you may be in a position to claim compensation from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA).

The CICA are responsible for managing the criminal injuries compensation scheme; this government funded scheme was established to show acknowledgement of society’s sympathy for innocent victims of violent crime and to try and compensate them for their injuries.
